Mother Nature’s Monday Madness
Ugh! It’s cold, chilly, and wet again, here in my world of zone 8b.
Truth is, I really shouldn’t complain, considering what my northern neighbors are having to deal with…SNOW!!!
In my neck of the woods, Mother Nature teased us with a warm and wonderful weekend, which my hubby and I made the most of by working outside in our backyard. We accomplished many of the tasks from our to-do list, such as moving a fence and some other heavy items. We added some garden soil to a few vegetable garden beds and installed some fencing around our garden, in an attempt to keep the neighborhood cats out. Only time will tell, so we shall see!
My husband and I are so eager to transplant our seedlings into our vegetable garden, but we’re doing our best to wait for Mother Nature to give us the all-clear! No more freezing weather …pretty please.
Later in the day, my sweet husband spoiled our little family with homemade chocolate chip cookies, which happen to be one of our favorite cookies. My husband would surely tell you he has never seen a cookie that wasn’t his favorite. LOL!
A happy life moment – feeling loved and blessed.
I would love to hear from you on what you’re “digging” this week, and I’ll be sending you best wishes for a wonderful and warmer week next week.
P.S. If you have a gardening blog, please share your link in the comments below. I would love to stop by and take a look.
Thanks for stopping by and
Digging with,
